From Westminster to Chelsea, each year the Alexanders team help a large number of our customers to move to the affluent areas of central London in search of a new home or business life.

Whilst chatting with our London neighbours through Twitter, we came across a recent study from the popular property area search site, Find-A-Hood.

Since July 2012 until July 2013, they have collected data on the average property sale and created a league table that ranks the most expensive house prices in the boroughs of London.

We have chosen to select the top 10 boroughs from the Find-A-Hood data and we have included if this is an area covered by Alexanders Removals.

(See the full report and all 32 boroughs here)

Based on private property transactions, Find-A-Hood, found that the Kensington and Chelsea area of London was the most expensive area to buy a home in, with house prices nearly reaching an average of £1.5 million. This was closely followed by the Westminster area of London where there average home is selling for £1.1 million.
