Alexanders Removals & Storage supported the Santa Cycle fund-raiser which was successfully completed by staff at Pound Gates and Sevatas yesterday. The challenge was for 25 staff to cycle 25 miles dressed as Santa, to celebrate their 25th year in business and with a target of raising over £5,000 for East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH).
The event, held on 9th December, involved staff cycling a 25 mile route around Ipswich, Suffolk, stopping at the EACH Treehouse hospice to deliver presents for the children EACH support families and care for children and young people with life-threatening conditions. They provide care and support wherever the family wishes – in families’ own homes, in the community or at one of their hospices
Those taking part had a full guided tour of the Hospice highlighting the need for companies to raise sponsorship so they can afford to keep going with the fantastic work they do. The Just Giving Santa Cycle is still open for donations.
